Dear readers,
All our Apps DBA community will be wondering and scratching their heads to find a file in Oracle Apps R12,so that
they write scripts to pick up the apps password , or if forgot the apps password then to look for apps password.The answer
to this question is a big “NO”.Oracle corporation has thought very much about the security of the apps password and from
Release 12 onwards the existing feature like “appsweb.cfg” is removed altogether(anyway the modpls component is not available
in R12!).So the question now is “what to do if i forgot the apps password?”,The only answer to this question is –reset the apps password to the default ones using ” the standard method”.I have already posted in my blog as How to reset apps password .
